The DS-2300 digital voice recorder uses xD-Picture cards for high capacity recording, up to 5 hours and 30 minutes on the included 16MB card. You can start a new file to separate parts of a discussion or lecture by simply pressing the "New" button. Files can be stored in up to 5 customizable folders for easy organization. At the end of the day transfer the files to your PC or Mac with the included USB cable.

A large LCD screen makes managing your recordings easy and convenient. The backlit display is easy to read in bright conditions so you can easily see recording times, battery life and more.

The Variable Control Voice Actuator starts recording once the microphone hears noise over a certain sound level making sure it records everything you need and conserves battery life. Since it is a solid-state recorder with no motors you get up to 20 hours of recording from one pair of alkaline batteries.
